As he added, the boy was five years old and died in New York City on Thursday.
He added that health officials are investigating 73 similar cases that have been reported across the state, as children have symptoms similar to “Covid-19,” a lung disease caused by the Corona virus.
“We rarely see any cases where children with a covid can become ill with symptoms similar to those of Kawasaki disease or a toxic shock syndrome that causes inflammation in their blood cells,” Como said.
Life-threatening inflammatory diseases of children were first detected in connection with exposure to “Covid-19” in Britain, Italy, and Spain, but doctors in the United States recorded groups of children with the disease that can attack multiple organs of the body, alter heart function and weaken its valves.
