FIFA has approved the new amendments to the candidacy conditions for the next elections in Jabaliya. According to the new regulations, the candidate for affiliation to the Football Association must have obtained a higher academic qualification and a specific university qualification, and as regards players, they must have participated in at least 10 official matches, and the candidate must be member of the board of directors of a club in the General Assembly in its new form after reducing it to 95 clubs, AND who had performed or was exempt from military service

The maximum and minimum candidacy have also been annulled, since the minimum age of candidacy of 40 years and the maximum and 70 years, as well as good conduct and reputation, have been abolished, and that no criminal sentences have been handed down against them. and that he does not combine belonging to the Football Association with belonging to any other sports organization.

The most important elements of the new regulation are:

– The new council is made up of 9 members, made up of a president, a deputy and 7 members, including at least one woman.

– The vice president is elected from outside, that is, by election with knowledge of the General Assembly, not from within.

– The 8-year clause is applied progressively or in the position, so that every candidate has the right to spend 8 years only in the position of member or alternate, and does not have the right to apply more than twice for the same position.

– The 8-year clause is applied retroactively, so former councilors do not have the right to stand in elections for membership seats, but rather for the position of deputy or president.

– Conflict of interest clause by which no candidate has the right to stand in the elections unless he submits his resignation to various areas identified in the list that have to do with sports such as sports marketing, sports media, player agents and others.

Eliminate district boards of directors and appoint only one executive director for each region.

Prevent racism in stadiums and activate international relations between federations.
