Libyans, and the lack of security due to the control of armed groups in some areas and the spread of terrorist groups, mercenaries and foreign forces. In some parts of Libya … the time has come for Libya to recover after a long and harsh hardship.
He noted that the city of Hurghada hosted the first meeting between two delegations representing the National Army and the Government of National Accord to build trust between them in support of the efforts of the United Nations Mission in Libya to resume the Committee meetings. Joint Military 5 + 5 that arose from the decisions of the Berlin Conference. And our meeting today is just to confirm Adhering to these decisions to translate them into reality.

Shukry called for today’s meeting to send a clear and unequivocal message that the international community is serious about ending the Libyan crisis in accordance with the will and vision of Libyans. “Libya has no interest in becoming a country ravaged by crises and ravaged by conflict, and to become a country that exports terrorist threats and illegal immigration, just as all Libyan parties are not interested in the conflict It lasts longer, so that its suffering continues and with it the depletion of its wealth, which must be directed to building Libya and the good of its people.
He also demanded that the will of the states to implement the Berlin recommendations and conclusions, all without exception, be translated into concrete and concrete measures to encourage the Libyan parties to respect what everyone in Berlin and in the Security Council promised, whether it relates to a ceasefire or to the ban on the importation of arms on the one hand, or the dismantling of militias and disarmament. Their weapons and the fight against terrorist organizations on the other hand, with what this requires in terms of an immediate cessation of the transfer of terrorists from Syria to Libya and the departure of all foreign forces from Libya.
He continued: “These are obligations that Libyans and the international community have always made to themselves without seeing that they have a real impact on the ground and without seeing dissuasive positions for those who violate them.”
He added: “I hope that Egypt does not reach a stage where it is forced to protect its interests and national security as it sees it, as stated by the President of the Republic at the” Sidi Barani “base on June 20, and since here Egypt continues its efforts through contacts with its Libyan brothers and through full coordination with the United Nations.
