Books – Muhammad Hammam:

South African coach Pitso Mosimane, coach of Al-Ahly, said luck, as he himself put it, brought him here, pointing to the players on his team who wrote history after winning the Egyptian Cup.

Al-Ahly was able to crown the hat-trick after winning the Egyptian Cup title after defeating Tale’i El-Geish on penalties (3-2) after the end of the match in their original and additional time with a marker of (1-1).

Musimani added in comments on the “Ontime Sports 1” screen: “I always say that there are important people who helped me, starting with the management, the players and the coaching staff.”

He continued: “When I was with Sundowns, I left the African championship, and now I am lucky to be in this place.”

Regarding the chances of Al-Ahly continuing with the championships, he replied: “Now I have two championships and we can win three and four.”

Musimani spoke about the Al-Jaish encounter, saying: “We faced a difficult team and the field did not help us. These players wrote the story and I thank them for giving them this opportunity that they gave me.”

Al-Ahly were able to win the league title for the fifth consecutive season, then followed by the African Champions League title for the ninth time in club history after beating rival Zamalek with two goals to one.

Al-Ahly may increase the number of tournaments, as the red team hopes to compete in the Africa Super Match against the Confederate champion, Berkane’s team from Morocco and the Egypt Super Championship against the Army Vanguards.
