South African Pitso Musimani, Al-Ahly’s new coach, sent the first message after arriving at Cairo airport on Friday morning to begin his mission with the club, which he described as the largest in the world.
Musimani said, in a video he posted on his personal account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “Training Al-Ahly is a great dream, and I trust the support of the masses.”
He added: “Al-Ahly is the biggest club in the world and Al-Ahly fans are the best. I know the extent of his passion for his club and I am confident of his support so that we can achieve our dreams together.”
He continued, addressing his message to the Al-Ahly fans: “You are the shield and the sword, I am counting on you and I am confident in the great trajectory of the club, professionalism and respectful management.”
He continued: “Together, we will always keep Al-Ahly at the top and number one, with his continued support, through thick and thin.”
The new artistic director of Al-Ahly said: “Al-Ahly is above all.”
Notably, Musimani will lead Maran Al-Ahly this Friday night, in preparation for the Arab Contractors meeting scheduled for next Sunday at the Cairo Stadium, in the 31st round of the Premier League competition.
