Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek Club, threatened to withdraw the club’s soccer team from the Premier League for this season, should the five-year-old committee’s stubbornness continue in various situations.

“We will not complete the league and we will withdraw in case of pressure exerted by the Five-Year Committee on everyone and transferring the officials to the Disciplinary Committee,” Mortada said in statements to the Zamalek channel.

And he continued: “The sports law that he helped to draft does not allow a body to punish a body like that, and club presidents are not an element of the game.”

He added: “Changing the medical protocol for crown swabs and replacing it with a (pin) is an incident that can lead to immediate cancellation from the league if FIFA is turned to.”

He continued: “The blood test revealed to us that there are 5 players in Zamalek who are infected with Corona, but when I did a personal swab for the players, they all proved to be safe.”

He concluded his comments: “Muhammad Kamel, the sponsor of the Al-Ahly channel, is also responsible for the charade (Shakat al-Dabbous), and he is the one who runs the blood test system.”
