Books – Ali Al-Bahji:
Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek club, said that all international institutions speak of respecting their club in light of their position to postpone their match against Moroccan Raja in the African Champions League.

Mansour added, in statements on the Zamalek club channel, that what matters to him is the health and safety of all players, whether in Egypt or abroad.

He continued: “The whole world is talking about the respectable Zamalek club. We have nothing to do with postponing the Raja game, but it is a humanitarian decision that was respected by all international institutions.”

He explained that his talk of agreeing to postpone the Raja game was humanitarian, and it is impossible for his team to play with this number of infections with the Coronavirus.

He pointed out that he was not like Mahmoud al-Khatib, who insisted on setting up a showdown with Al-Ahly with Al-Masry despite the latter’s infection with the Corona virus, and at the time I blamed him on air.

He stressed that when Ahmed Ahmed, President Kaff, spoke to him to postpone the Champions League, I told him that I did not agree, and Pyramids said that too, and at that time Al-Khatib was also against the postponement.

He concluded: “After that, Al-Khatib changed his mind and accepted the postponement, and I insisted on my position to disagree, because the health and safety of the youngest Al-Ahly player or the hope of all the championships of the world”.
