Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek, believes that the IOC speech embarrassed the Egyptian Olympic Committee, after it confirmed that the decision to suspend him as president of Zamalek is an internal matter and not that of the international body.
“The House of Representatives defined the terms of reference for the Olympic Committee and rejected the idea of intimidating any outside party when adopting the new sports law in 2017,” Mortada said on Zamalek TV.
He indicated that he will retire from the legal profession if his crisis with Hisham Hatab, president of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, does not end, imprisoning the latter.
