The head of the Syndicate of Egyptian Present Professions, Ashraf Zaki, confirmed during his phone calls with an Egyptian television program, that he contacted Muhammad Ramadan, with the latter denying his knowledge of the Israeli artist, saying: “I swear to God I did not I know, I was in an Arab country and I took this photo. “

Zaki added: “Ramadan told me that he did not know that the person who took the photo with him was an Israeli, and I do not believe that Muhammad Ramadan’s intelligence will betray him. Muhammad is not stupid, because he is photographed with an Israeli.”

Zaki indicated that the Artists Union will convene in Ramadan to investigate the incident.

This comes after social networks were in full swing, yesterday Saturday, with many angry comments and criticisms, for an image published by the account “Israel speaks Arabic”, affiliated with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which brought together the actor Muhammad Ramadan, Israeli singer Omir Adam, and Emirati singer Hamad Al Mazroui, and commented on Image says: “Art always unites us.”

Criticism of social media pioneers and accusations of normalizing Ramadan with Israel also led Emirati journalist Hamad Al Mazrouei to delete the photo he posted through his Twitter account, which was collected by Ramadan and Omair Adam, where Al Mazrouei said in his deleted tweet: “Egypt’s most famous artist with months An artist in Israel, Dubai unites us.”
