Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek club, said that the absences in the team against Ismaily demonstrated the veracity of his opinion about the postponement of Raja’s game.

The president of Zamalek agreed to postpone the Raja match that was scheduled to be played last Saturday until next November 1 due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in the Moroccan team.

Murtado Mansour added: “I said that not everything you know is said. Mahmoud Alaa, Hazem Imam and Youssef Obama were absent due to incomplete recovery, which led me to agree to postpone the match.”

Mansour explained: “I cannot object to myself. I criticized Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly, for refusing to postpone Al-Masry’s match in the league due to the outbreak of Corona among the Green Team players.”

He added: “There are 18 patients with a crown in the ranks of hope, and not all can be cured.”

Mortada criticized a statement issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the sense of not harming the Zamalek entity and its sports teams in the context of the crisis of the white president with the Olympic Committee.

“This statement is not correct,” Mortada said. “Murtado is the entity and the entity is Mortada Mansour, I represent 50 million Zamalek fans.”

He concluded: “I tell the Zamalek fans, be happy. Amr El-Janiny swore to 3 points from Zamalek and I fulfilled my decision and we did not play the top game, and in the end we achieved our goal.”
