Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek club, revealed that Ikrami Al-Shahat, the retired goalkeeper of Al-Ahly, refused to transfer his son Sherif Ikrami to the white club.
Speaking to Zamalek TV, Mortada Mansour said: “I am shocked by the recent attack on Sherif Ikrami. I offered his father to transfer him to Zamalek, but he strongly refused.”
The Zamalek president added: “My great honor is my friend for many years, but he confirmed that his son belongs to the Al-Ahly Club and will not move to Zamalek, and I respected him.”
Mortada Mansour criticized Ahmed Schubert, the retired Al-Ahly goalkeeper and host of On Time Sports programs, saying: “Schubert caused Sherif Ikrami to leave Al-Ahly so that his son would be registered with the team.”
Leading the five-year committee of the Egyptian Football Association, Mortada said: “Amr Al-Ganaini Zamalekawi, but he works against the club. All he does before his current job is write sarcastic comments only on Facebook.”
Mortada Mansour concluded: “Amr Al-Janayni owns 10 billion pounds, but has not spent any Egyptian pounds on Zamalek club deals before, so I am surprised when some ask me about the businessmen’s support for the team deals. “.
