Books – Muhammad Hammam:

Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, stated that he did not utter any insults to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly after his absence from the new White Club projects.

The Zamalek Club opened several projects on Friday in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhi.

“I respect the prime minister, but he is sad and angry that he was not at the club to attend the new projects,” the Zamalek president said in a video statement posted on his page on Saturday night.

He continued: “I am sad for the prime minister because he went to visit Al-Ahly after they opened new projects for them. I am waiting for him to send a bouquet and reply or a letter of apology for not attending.”

The president of Zamalek denied during his statements that he had not uttered any insult to the prime minister and, if proven, he would be willing to submit his resignation to the House of Representatives and to the legal profession.

He explained: “Some want to cause problems and crises. What happened (a silly joke), we are waiting for the prime minister to attend his club.

It is worth noting that Mortada Mansour sent a message to the Prime Minister saying: “Your Honor, you were a player in Zamalek one day when you were vice president of the club. You received your salary from the club treasury. Why did you not attend?”
