Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Mortada Mansour, head of Egyptian Madi Zamalek, sent a letter to fans of the club demanding to take to the streets on Friday in protest of what he described as a “conspiracy” against the club, saying that it would not benefit the case.
This came in a post published by Mansour on his official social media site, Facebook, on Thursday night, where he said: “To the big Zamalek fans who are demanding to go out on the streets today, Friday, in protest against the plot against the Zamalek club and its elected and legitimate board of directors. This will not benefit our cause. … Our cause is just, and all we ask for is justice and the lifting of injustice.
Mansour added: “We have turned to Almighty God and we only want to listen to His Excellency the President of the Republic. If we are right, he will do us justice, and if we are wrong, he will judge us … and finally, neither Zamalek nor his legitimate president they will be part of the chaos in Egypt. “
He added: “Tomorrow, Friday, my audio and video message will be addressed to His Excellency the President of the Republic. I will tell you, with documents, of the great conspiracy against one of the largest clubs in Africa and against its president, and I await his judgment. right after God’s judgment, which we only fear is the truth.
