Mortada Mansour, a candidate for the House of Representatives elections from the Mit Ghamr district in Dakahlia, said the results of the vote were in 55 subcommittees, a difference of almost 3,000 votes from her closest competitor.
“Mansour” posted on his official Facebook page on Monday an image in the order of the candidates in terms of the number of votes, showing that he had obtained 9656 votes, followed by Mahmoud Al-Azab, the candidate with 6888 votes.
The first indications were that after counting 21 subcommittees in the Mit Ghamr district in Dakahlia, Mortada Mansour showed the list of candidates in the number of votes.
The candidate Mahmoud al-Azab received 8,121 votes, Abd al-Fattah al-Bahri received 6,297 votes, Osama Radhi received 3,897 votes and Murtaza Mansour received 972 votes.
On the other hand, journalist Ahmed Moussa sent a message to Mortada Mansour, with hints that he would abandon the race.
“Musa” wrote on “Facebook” on Sunday evening: “I wish Chancellor Mortada Mansour the approach to running in the 2025 parliamentary elections.”
He added: “The count so far reveals that he is completely out of the race. They are elections and they finance democracy.” We have to respect it. “
