Moroccan reports: CAF threatens Wydad and prevents his participation

Moroccan press reports said that the African Football Confederation (CAF) threatened Wydad Casablanca, Morocco, and its neighbor, Raja, with depriving them of participating in the African Champions League, for failure to pay player fees. and coaches for whom decisions were issued.

The Moroccan site “Le 360Sport” said that the CAF threatened to deprive Al-Raja and Wydad from participating in the African championships, in case they defaulted on the payment of the fees of the players and coaches, who have files in the Commission of Controversies of the Moroccan Federation and FIFA or the International Court of Sports.

According to the same source, the CAF Competitions Committee threatened all clubs with being deprived of their presence in the African Champions League and Confederation Cup during the next football sports season, in case of non-payment of the quotas of your players and coaches.

Al-Kaf asked the competent authorities to provide him with information about the debts of Wydad and Al-Raja, and their disputes with some players and coaches, due to late financial quotas in favor of former members of the two teams.

The African Union establishes the condition that all clubs must obtain a professional license, and one of its most important provisions is the lack of financial delays in fees.
