Sources added that the recent support campaigns carried out by the African Football Confederation (CAF) and the players of Al-Ahly, Zamalek and the Egyptian national team, have contributed to the improvement of his psychological state, which helped in his improvement overall.

The Al-Ahly club had previously announced that it would sponsor Moamen Zakaria’s treatment in addition to paying all of his financial dues for his contract at the club without deduction, after the club obtained approval from the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Moamen Zakaria disease is a disease that spreads rapidly in the body, as it passes from muscle atrophy to nerves and thus the body loses control over the muscles, affecting the human body and all its senses, even in speech.
