The Confederation of African Football Confederation (CAF) chose star Moamen Zakaria as ambassador for the final of the current edition of the CAF Champions League.
“K” announced, through his official account on the “Twitter” site, that Moamen Zakaria, the star of Al-Ahly, and the Egyptian team were chosen to be the ambassador for the final match.
Momen will present the trophy to the winning team of the CAF Champions League, accompanied by Moroccan star Mohamed Timoumi.
Zakaria suffers from a health crisis, as he suffers from a rare disease that affects the nerves, so the player stops playing football and undergoes extremely expensive treatment.
Moamen Zakaria was the protagonist of the announcement of the new shirt for the Egyptian team (see details from here).
The Al-Ahly Club had fully disbursed the value of the believer Zakaria’s contract, with full participation fees, in a clear message of support from the Red Castle to one of his sons.
Al-Ahly will face the Moroccan Wydad on October 17 in Casablanca, while in the same city, Zamalek will face the Moroccan cubs on the 18th in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
The return meetings will take place a week later at the Egyptian Army Stadium in Borg El Arab.
The final match will be played on November 6, and the match stadium has not been determined. In case Al-Ahly and Zamalek reach the final, the match will be played in Egypt, and the same happens if Raja and Wydad rise, the match will be played in Morocco, but in the case of an ascending Egyptian and Moroccan team , CAF will determine the stage at that time.
