Books – Ahmad Jumaa:
Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, spoke about the evaluation of the medical services provided to people infected with Coronavirus in private hospitals, as she instructed to adhere to the controls established by the state in the services provided in these hospitals.
Zayed noted that the Ministry of Health is meeting the needs of these hospitals for drugs within the updated treatment protocol for the emerging corona virus, and all necessary preventive supplies, in order to provide public health care and in a way that serve the benefit of the Egyptian patient.
This happened during the meeting held by the Minister of Health and Population, on Tuesday, with Dr. Alaa Abdul-Majeed, head of the Chamber of Health Service Providers of the private sector and several representatives of the main private sector hospitals, at the general office of the Ministry of Health and Population, to discuss the working mechanism of these hospitals during the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid_19). And discussion of updated treatment protocols according to WHO standards.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Hassani, Deputy Minister of Health and Population for Public Health Initiatives, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobky, Deputy Minister of Health and Population for Supervision and Follow-up Affairs and Head of the Public Health Authority with Comprehensive Health Insurance, Dr. Hossam Hosni, Head of the Scientific Committee to Combat the New Corona Virus, and Dr. Mustafa Ghanima, Head of the Therapeutic Medicine Sector Dr. Mohsen Taha, Head of the Central Department of Clinical Medicine, Dr. Muhammad Fawzi Al-Souda, Head of the Hospitals and Educational Institutes Authority, Dr. Nihal Al-Shaer, Head of the Central Administration of Free Therapy and Licenses, and various heads of private hospital councils
During the meeting, the minister confirmed that private sector hospitals are a main partner with the Ministry of Health and Population in the provision of medical services to those infected by the Coronavirus, highlighting the importance of joining all the efforts of the state with hospitals from the private sector to face the emerging Corona virus, and also thanked all medical staff and workers at all hospitals for their efforts. At the service of patients.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesperson of the ministry, explained that during the meeting the exchange of experiences of the Ministry of Health and Population on the updated treatment protocols for the emerging coronavirus was discussed. and their transfer to these hospitals.
