The statement indicated that in the presentation to the Council of Ministers at its 118th session on Wednesday, it was decided to evacuate the two buildings starting on December 1, for a month to preserve the safety and life of the residents. and that the executing companies would pay a month’s rent for the occupants of the residential units in the two buildings, and it was decided to start up the drilling rig as of the same day so as not to delay the time plan; Implement the project.
The cabinet meeting also decided that after the completion of the excavation works, a technical committee will be formed from the Ministry of Housing, Public Services and Urban Communities, and the governorate of Cairo. Determine the state of the two buildings and approve the pertinent action in this regard, whether due to removal, partial degeneration or total degeneration.
