Zayed explained, in a telephone interview with the program “Al-Masry Effendi” with the journalist Ahmed Salem on the channel “Cairo and the People”, that the difference between the first, second and third stages is that the third stage tests the safety of the drug and its adequate dose, and that it gives immunity and is tested in more volunteers.

And he continued: “With regard to 7 vaccines that reached the third stage, we worked with the International Alliance for Vaccines and Vaccines and signed a very large alliance in Geneva, in order to ensure our needs and we reserved 30 million doses for ourselves, and with a roller we will begin the third phase of clinical research for two types of Corona vaccines with some countries in the world. “.

The Health Minister indicated that, starting tomorrow, they will invite volunteers to carry out tests on two types of vaccines, adding: “Two vaccinated countries have followed a Chinese company that provides basic vaccines for polio, and one of the companies leaders in the field of vaccines “.

And he continued: “By decision of the Minister of Health, a national working group of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, the Ministry of Justice and the Medicines Authority was formed to supervise clinical research to develop these vaccines and supervise the third phase” .

The Minister of Health and Population confirmed that Egypt is one of the countries recognized internationally for its efficiency in handling the crisis, with regard to combating the Corona virus, saying: “Egypt is one of the countries known for managing well the crisis and we are interested in saving lives ”.

He added that he does not believe that the Corona virus will go away completely, but that they will live with it, noting that Egypt is still in the first wave and has had the ability to adapt and maneuver in the administration to absorb and control the Corona pandemic.

He continued: “We understand and control the virus well, knowing the hotspots in which the virus can increase, and even when people went to the coast, we provide services in around 70 places to provide care, awareness and recognition, and more. than 60 treatment convoys “.
