The Prime Minister also indicated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, launched the project to develop Egyptian villages, as part of the President’s initiative “A Decent Life”, noting that this project will significantly change the face of the Egyptians. countryside, in addition to improving the standard of living of some 58 million Egyptians living in the Egyptian countryside, spending more than 500 billion pounds, adding that this project contributes to its implementation by most ministries, which requires constant and continuous coordination, highlighting in this regard that a weekly meeting will be held to follow up on what is being implemented on the ground in this important project, which will achieve a qualitative leap in the shape of the Egyptian state, noting that About 60% of the Egyptian people will feel the fruits of the economic reform, through the implementation of this type of projects, in which we do our best to be implemented in the best possible way.
Cabinet decisions
During the meeting, it was agreed to consider the Egyptian village development project within the President’s “A Decent Life” initiative as a national project, to facilitate licensing and construction procedures and exemption from payment of permit fees.
Madbouly highlighted the importance of each minister following up on the implementation of the Egyptian villages project, which we hope will be a milestone in the history of the Egyptian village, and thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for launching , support and follow this project.
For her part, the Minister of Commerce and Industry indicated that the Minister of Housing and the President of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, which are the two entities that will undertake the implementation of construction projects in the Village Development Project Egyptians, have been contacted as part of the president’s initiative, “A dignified life”, to identify all their needs and coordinate with all manufacturers to provide them.

The Minister explained that the vaccines will be delivered through the electronic registration system to neutralize the human element at this stage, and to ensure the governability of this system and increase trust between the State and the citizen, and within the framework of the recommendations of the World Health Organization in terms of identifying categories that will have priority in the provision of the vaccine in view of the limited initial quantities, including medical workers, the elderly and critical cases, explaining that vaccination operations will have an expected effect on reducing the number of deaths, and the vaccine will have an effect on reducing the symptoms of the disease, preventing infection and limiting its spread, and the minister presented part of the national campaign to give the vaccine to the first ranks of Defense.

Regarding Egypt’s position on vaccines, the Minister of Health indicated that the AstraZeneca Company’s contract for the Russian company’s factory and the Indian Serm Institute has been signed by the Consolidated Purchasing Authority, and is expected to receive 50,000 doses of the company. in February.
Dr. Hala Zayed emphasized that Egypt is one of the first countries that prepared itself to face and respond to infectious diseases by partnering with the Global Disease Outbreak Alert and Response Network, which works closely with the World Organization for Disease Control and Prevention. Health to exchange experiences and support. the response by supporting the WHO team and regional offices, noting that the Egyptian health system had the experience, knowledge and information related to the epidemic outbreak, which qualified it to be one of the first countries to respond to the Covid 19 outbreak shortly after the first cases were announced.
