On Saturday, the Met Office mentioned the details of the cold front movement that affected the country during the last three days and caused a significant decrease in temperatures.

He explained that the Cairo meteor station registered 12 degrees Celsius last Wednesday, and this is the lowest temperature recorded during the winter season so far.

He added that wind activity associated with the winds led to an increased sense of cold weather.

Meteorologists indicated that temperatures will continue for the next period around their levels without a noticeable increase, as the weather prevails during the day and very cold at night in most parts.

The observations revealed a “state of instability” in the middle of next week, which will affect the north and east of the country in particular.

He added that it will be mentioned in detail to ensure that the numerical models are tested.
