The Meteorological Authority revealed, in a published statement, the expected weather for tomorrow, Monday, January 18, 2021.

Monday in the morning:

– Cold weather over Cairo and Lower Egypt, and winds are moderate at times over Greater Cairo.

– Cold weather on the northern coasts, and the winds are active and dusty.

Moderate weather in South Sinai and strong winds.

– Moderate climate in the north and south of Upper Egypt, with moderate winds.

Monday night weather:
Very cold weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt.
Very cold weather on the northern coasts.
Cold weather in South Sinai.
Very cold climate in the north and south of Upper Egypt.

Natural phenomena:

Light rain (about 40%) in areas of (Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira – Dakahlia).

Light to moderate rainfall (about 50%) in areas of (Salloum – Matrouh – Alexandria – Rashid – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said – Arish – Rafah) in intermittent periods.

The activity of the exciting winds of sand and dust in the coastal areas of the north and central Sinai.

Technical description of the weather maps:
– The country is affected by the extension of an aerial depression in the Mediterranean Sea that affects the southwest winds in the north of the country, and the extension of a high air over the rest of the country, coinciding with an aerial depression in the upper atmosphere.
