Meteorology: Latest satellite images indicate torrential rain, beginning of improvement, end of day

The Meteorological Authority revealed that the latest versions of satellite images indicate the proliferation of low clouds in areas of Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, accompanied by moderate rains, which increase in intensity in the northeast of the country, and the cities of the Canal and North Sinai are abundant and may be accompanied by lightning from time to time.

The Meteorological Authority confirmed that an improvement in the weather is expected by the end of the day.

Today Wednesday, there will be moderate weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate winds, moderate weather on the northern coasts, strong winds and warm weather in South Sinai, with moderate winds.

There is also a warm climate in the north of Upper Egypt and the winds are moderate, warm in the south of Upper Egypt and the winds are moderate.

Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department of the General Meteorological Authority, revealed that the country is witnessing opportunities for moderate rainfall in areas of Greater Cairo, moderate rainfall in areas of Matrouh, Beheira, Alexandria, Gharbia, Menoufia, Ras Sidr , Nakhl and Saint Catherine, and moderate to heavy rains in areas of Damietta, Port Said and Kafr. Sheikh, Dakahlia, Sharkia, Ismailia, Suez, Rafah and Arish, and light and moderate rains in areas of Faiyum, Bani Sweif and Minya.

The weather will be cold at night in Cairo and Lower Egypt, cold on the northern shores, inclined to cold in southern Sinai, very cold in the north and south of Upper Egypt.
