“Meteorology” determines the location of electrical and dust storms: clouds move toward Alexandria

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority said that in the context of warnings about bad weather to which the country is exposed as a result of the presence of an air depression today and tomorrow, satellite images have detected medium clouds multiplying over northern Libya and Egypt to Matrouh. and accompanied by rain, and that the clouds advance during the next hours to Alexandria and the North Delta.

The Meteorological Authority confirmed in a statement on today’s weather that there is a noticeable decrease in temperatures today, and cold weather prevails in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the western coasts, and tends to be cold in the north of Upper Egypt. and the east. coasts, and it is hot in southern Upper Egypt only during the day.

The Meteorological Authority added in its forecast for today’s weather, with active winds everywhere, causing dust and sand to reach the point of a storm in northern Upper Egypt.

The meteorological authority expected strong storms, sometimes accompanied by cold, in the following areas: «Alexandria – Salloum – Matrouh – Baltim Al Buhaira – Kafr El Sheikh – Rashid – Damietta – Port Said – Dakahlia.« Arish – Rafah – Ras Sidr – Saint Catalina, with opportunities for snow to fall in central Sinai, especially in Santa Catalina.

The Meteorological Authority explained about today’s weather, and the opportunity is ready for light to moderate rains to fall in the areas of «Cairo – Giza – Qalyubia – Menoufia – Suez – Gharbia. The presence of light rains in Beni Suef and Fayoum, and the presence of frosts in crops during the night.
