Meteorology announces the meteorological phenomena and places of rainfall expected until next Tuesday

The Meteorological Authority revealed the meteorological phenomena and places of expected rain during the period from Thursday to next Tuesday, December 15, 2020:

Thursday, December 10, 2020:

Light to moderate rains (30%) in some areas of the western coasts.

Water source: in some areas of the north coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, central Sinai and north of Upper Egypt.

Agitated wind and sand activity: in some areas of the west of the country (Salloum – Sidi Barani – Siwa).

On Friday, December 11, 2020:

Light to moderate rainfall at the rate of (30%): in some areas of the western coasts.

Water source: in some areas of the north coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, central Sinai and north of Upper Egypt.

On Saturday, December 12, 2020:

Light to moderate rainfall (40%): in some areas of the northwest coast (Alexandria – Matrouh – Sallum).

Water source: in some areas of Lower Egypt, Cairo, the northern coasts, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.

Agitated wind and sand activity: in some areas of the west of the country (Salloum – Sidi Barani – Siwa).

On Sunday, December 13, 2020:

Light to moderate rainfall at a rate of (50%): in some areas of the northwest coast (Alexandria – Dabaa – Matrouh – Salloum).

Agitated activity of wind and sand: in some areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities and the north of Upper Egypt.

On Monday, December 14, 2020:

Moderate to heavy rains: in some areas of the northwest coast (Alexandria – Dabaa – Matrouh – Salloum, Rashid – Baltim).

Light to moderate rainfall: in some areas of the northeast coast (Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).

Light to moderate rain: in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira – Dakahlia – Al Gharbia – Sharkia – Menoufia).

Agitated activity of wind and sand: in some areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities and the north of Upper Egypt.

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020:

Medium to heavy rains: in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria – Dabaa – Matrouh – Salloum – Rashid – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).

Moderate rain: in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira – Dakahlia – Al Gharbia – Sharkia – Menoufia).

Light rain: in some areas of Greater Cairo and the canal cities.

The meteorological release concluded with the need to take all the necessary preparations and measures to limit the effects of the rains, and the forecasts are also updated daily.
