Meteorology announces an update on the expected weather today: rain and wind activity

The Meteorological Authority released a weather forecast update today, during the 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. period, on Monday, December 7, and says:

Due to the sudden and rapid changes of the autumn season and the presence of clouds coming from the west of the country and with the change of direction of the winds, some emergency changes in the climatic conditions take place as follows:

Light rain: in some areas of Greater Cairo, the canal cities, and northern Upper Egypt.

Light to moderate rainfall: in some areas of (Alexandria – Rashid – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said – Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira – Dakahlia – Gharbia – Menoufia – Sharqia).

Agitated wind and sand activity: in some areas of Greater Cairo, the canal cities and the north of Upper Egypt (Fayoum – Beni Suef – Minya).

Moderate winds, sometimes causing dust: in areas of the northern coasts and Lower Egypt.
