The hospital added: “The program’s name is Ramiz Majnoon, an official who increases the stigma of mental illness and offends patients.”

Meanwhile, Egyptian MP Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Egyptian Club, sent an ultimatum to the Interior Ministry to arrest Ramiz Jalal and a notification to the Public Prosecutor for his investigation.

He indicated in a statement on Monday night that “he asked the Minister of Health and the director of the Psychiatric and Mental Hospital to detain Ramez Jalal in the hospital.”

He stressed that Jalal “intentionally commits acts (which he has not clarified) that are considered crimes punishable by law.”

The “Ramez Majnun Official” program airs after Maghrib’s prayer, which means it is the first televised breakfast meal for Egyptians and other Arab countries, and the number of visits from previous copies in recent years has been Estimated at tens of millions, and this year the promotional segment of the program obtained more than 26 million in two days.
