Councilor Ahmed Bakri, head of the Cairo Court of Appeals, head of the temporary committee to administer the Zamalek club’s affairs, revealed the functions that the committee will assume under his presidency during the next term.
Bakri said, in exclusive statements to Masrawy, on Sunday night, that the committee will take over the management of the Blanco Club in all its internal affairs and conditions, in addition to the needs of the soccer team.
Regarding the Zamalek player registration, which will be presented tomorrow Monday night, he said that he is about to appoint a new ball commission to thoroughly examine the player registration, to deliver them on time to the Football Association, without affecting the decision to suspend the club’s board of directors, due to financial irregularities.
The president of the Cairo Court of Appeals, regarding the exempt memberships approved by Mortada Mansour, the suspended president of the Zamalek Club, confirmed that he would examine this file in its entirety to decide later.
The head of the temporary commission of Zamalek stressed that the financial irregularities will be investigated by the prosecution and will not affect the future of the club or the registration of the players.
Regarding his resume, Bakri said that he was born in the governorate of Fayoum and graduated in 1980. President of the Giza Criminal Court.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports headed by Minister Ashraf Sobhi decided to suspend the board of directors of the Zamalek Club for financial irregularities, with the board of directors of Castillo Blanco temporarily excluded until the investigations of the Prosecutor’s Office are concluded and what results they will yield.
The Sports Ministry temporarily appointed Councilor Ahmed Bakri Mohamed Hamida as club president.
