Alexandria – Mohamed Amer and Mohamed El-Badry:

In the early hours of Saturday morning, the Alexandria and Kafr El Sheikh governorates were exposed to a wave of bad weather, accompanied by moderate rains and strong winds.

The rain caused the accumulation of amounts of water on various side streets and highways throughout Alexandria, amid a notable drop in temperatures.

Light and medium rains also fell in some towns and cities of Kafr El-Sheikh, and were accompanied by medium speed winds, without any complaint of power cuts registered by the operating room in the governorate.

Major General Jamal Nour El-Din, the governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, had instructed the concerned agencies and the heads of towns and villages in the governorate to deal immediately with the presence of rain debris and sweep it off the streets.

Experts predicted the General Meteorological Authority Forecasting and Analysis Center, the start of a wind activity in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts of Upper Egypt as a result of a change in air mass and entry of cold air from the western Mediterranean, leading to disruption of navigation in either the Mediterranean or the Red Sea, with opportunities for precipitation Light rain

The Meteorological Authority said temperatures are expected to drop in the next few hours by 5-6 degrees in Cairo and Lower Egypt, with Shaboura on agricultural roads.
