Zamalek’s first soccer team resumed training on Tuesday, in preparation for the Pyramids match at the Egyptian we League championship.
Zamalek are scheduled to meet their Pyramids counterpart next Thursday at the Air Defense Stadium, in round 24 of the Egyptian Premier League championship.
The team players were put through a “Quick Test” test before the start of the group training, and the training started with various physical parts under the leadership of Ahmed Esmat, the team’s load officer, which included some strong exercises with the ball. and without the ball.
Zamalek coach Patrice Carteron divided the players into two groups, the first under the supervision of Amir Abdulaziz, general coach, and the second under the direction of Ahmed Abdel Raouf, assistant coach.
The training course included training in some tactical and technical aspects that will be implemented during the next matches of the Egyptian Premier League Championship.
Mahmoud Abdel Rahim Jensh, Mahmoud Alaa and Ahmed Sayed Zizou, the team’s players, attended group exercises after being absent from training yesterday, with the permission of the team’s coaching staff.
Jensh participated in the training under the direction of goalkeeping coach Amr Abdel Salam, while the Alaa and Zizou duo underwent a special recovery session in the gym before joining the group training session.
For his part, Zamalek midfielder, Tariq Hamed, obtained permission to miss training for two days, due to his absence from the Pyramids match in league competition to be suspended for having received three cautions.
Hazem Imam and Mohamed Hassan, the team’s double, continued to implement their qualification program outside of the training session, while Moroccan Mohamed Onajem, the team’s player, underwent a special technical and physical program outside of training group.
Hazem and Mohamed Hassan are undergoing rehabilitation training in the gym due to an injury, as Hazem Imam suffers a tear injury to the front muscle and Muhammad Hassan suffers a back muscle strain.
For his part, Amir Abdel Aziz, general coach of the first team in Zamalek, wanted to give some special instructions to the Tunisian player Ferjani Sassi during training sessions.
Abdulaziz had a quick session with Sassi to give him important technical advice and instructions before Zamalek’s next match against the Pyramids.
The first team is scheduled to enter a closed camp tomorrow, Wednesday, at a hotel near the Air Defense Stadium in the Fifth Settlement.
Zamalek are undergoing their last training session tomorrow morning at the club’s stadium, before entering the closed camp in preparation to face their Pyramids counterpart.
