Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al-Ahly Football Manager, contacted Nabil Makki, Egypt’s ambassador to Niger, to coordinate with him the preparation of the team’s trip in the coming days, to face Niger’s champion, Sonideb, in the 1st leg of the 32nd CAF Champions League.
Abdel Hafeez said the phone call addressed all coordination matters related to the trip.
It should be noted that Al-Ahly will face the Nigerian champions on Sunday 22-23 December, while the club awaits the arrival of an official letter from the African Football Confederation (CAF), confirming the exact date of the match.
Betso Mosimane, coach of Al-Ahly’s first football team, held a long session with the auxiliary apparatus on the sidelines of the team’s training sessions today, Wednesday, in order to prepare for the next stage, which will witness the start of the race of the team in the new league version for the 2020-2021 season.
Al-Ahly will begin the day of defending the local title against clear Egypt, next Sunday, at the new Al-Ahly Stadium in the city of Al-Salam.
Hussein Al-Shahat and Taher Mohamed Taher, players from Al-Ahly’s first soccer team, attended group exercises on Wednesday.
The duo had only gone through physical training yesterday in the “gym”, apart from the collective training of the team.
Al-Shahat got rid of the foot pains, while Taher Mohamed Taher began participating in the team’s group training, after the medical device gave him a negative rest yesterday, due to the head injury he suffered during the Al-Ahly and Al-Jaish match in the final of the Egyptian Cup.
Marwan Mohsen and Junior Ajay, players from the Al-Ahly soccer first team, completed their qualification programs in the “gym”, on the sidelines of the team’s training on Wednesday.
Marwan Mohsen suffers from muscle fatigue, while Junior Ajay suffers an ankle injury.
Al-Ahly are preparing to face Egypt, starting next Sunday, in the opening of the team’s career in Premier League competition.
Betso Mosimane, coach of the Al-Ahly club’s first football team, held a session with Taher Mohamed Taher, the team’s player, before the start of training on Wednesday.
During the session, Musimani reassured the state of the player, who missed the team’s training yesterday due to a head injury.
Taher organized a soccer training session today, as part of the team’s preparations to face Egypt’s punt, scheduled for next Sunday at the start of Al-Ahly’s trip in the new version of the Premier League competition.
Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Al-Ahly’s new player, attended soccer training for the first time today, after recovering from the Corona virus infection.
The player had undergone the medical treatment protocol of the Ministry of Health, and had recently had a medical smear, which was negative.
Al-Ahly is reported to have hired Ahmed Ramadan Beckham from the ranks of the Tigris Valley.
