The Al-Ahly club continued its training tonight, Tuesday, at the touch stadium, in preparation for the Al-Jaish match, which will be played next Saturday night as part of the last round of the Premier championship League.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Al-Jaish, scheduled for next Saturday night at the Al-Salam stadium, as part of the final round of the Premier League championship.
The team’s training started with a light physical section, and then Pitso Mosimani, the coach, implemented some technical and planning aspects, which included building the attack from the center of the field, in addition to the crossed balls, and the eagerness of Musimani for guiding players and correcting mistakes during training.
The team’s quartet of goalkeepers, Mohamed El Shennawi, Ali Lotfi, Mustafa Schubert and Ahmed Tariq, participated in vigorous training under the supervision of Yankon Michel, the goalkeeping coach.
The guards’ training included shooting from different angles and using barriers to focus on the physical side.
Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the club’s director of football, held a one-on-one session with Khaled Mahmoud, the team doctor, to check on the condition of the injured players, who are carrying out their treatment and rehabilitation programs to prepare them for their return and the collective participation.
The football director spoke with the Al-Ahly doctor, on the sidelines of the team’s training, which took place tonight, Tuesday, at Touch Stadium, in preparation to face the Army Vanguards.
Al-Ahly resumed training yesterday, after ending the two-day rest period, following the victory over Moroccan Wydad in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
Ayman Ashraf, the team player, attended the team’s collective training, which took place tonight, Tuesday, at Touch Stadium, in preparation to face the Army Vanguards.
Ayman Ashraf underwent a hospital program yesterday, and did a solo workout, while today he participated in the group training session that included a light physical appearance and ball training.
The coaching staff, led by Pitso Musimani, seeks to prepare all the players for the next stage, which begins with facing the vanguards of Al-Jaysh in the league and then the final of the African Champions League, which will be played on the 6th. of November.
The team trio, Ali Maaloul, Marwan Mohsen and Magdy Afsha, continued to implement their treatment and rehabilitation programs to prepare them to return and participate in the group training session.
Maaloul, Mohsen and Afsha played a session in the gym, then played a solo workout at Touch Stadium, on the sidelines of the group training session that took place tonight, Tuesday.
The trio had complained of muscle injuries and the coaching staff, led by Pitso Musimane, preferred to give them enough time to recover before returning to team participation.
