Prime Minister Dr Mustafa Madbouly said 400,000 citizens have so far submitted requests for reconciliation in relation to building violations.

He added in a press conference held Thursday that the deadline for submitting reconciliation requests is late October, rather than late September.

He noted that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi reviewed the economic situation with the government, noting that the current fiscal year has seen a high rate of growth and progress despite challenges from Corona.

He added that the approach in the next period would be to establish the conditions to encourage the idea of ​​vertical construction in towns so that it is not built on agricultural land, so that each citizen benefits from his own plot located within the urban space.

He indicated that a national number will be created for each property, and this will end in 2020/2021, and this will return to real estate with multiple benefits.

The Prime Minister said that he noticed heavy congestion at points of sale to receive requests for reconciliation in building violations, indicating that the government decided to extend the period for receiving requests by one month until the end of October.

Madbouly added that the President of the Republic reviewed the position of the requests for reconciliation in construction violations, thanking the Egyptians who request reconciliation in construction violations, and this indicates that the citizen is convinced that this law is at their disposal.
