French President Emmanuel Macron has said that his country has a long history of struggle and nothing is holding him back.
Macron tweeted in Arabic on his Twitter account: “We respect all differences in the spirit of peace. We never accept hate speech and uphold rational debate. We will always uphold human dignity and universal values.”
Nothing makes us stop, ever.

The French Foreign Ministry confirmed earlier in the day that Muslims in France are an integral part of the country’s society and history, noting that the fight against extremism is carried out in cooperation with Muslims in France, according to “Al Arabiya”.
In a statement tonight, on Saturday, the French Foreign Ministry called on the countries of the Islamic world not to boycott French products, stressing that Muslims are part of the national fabric in France.
And calls were made on social media to boycott French products in various Arab and Islamic countries, in the context of statements by French President Emmanuel Macron, who pledged on Thursday to “not give up on cartoons” during the memorial service of the teacher Samuel Batey, who was assassinated on October 16.
Several countries, including Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, and Turkey, have condemned the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation also denounced “official political rhetoric issued by some French officials that offends Franco-Islamic relations and fuels feelings of hatred for the sake of partisan political gains.”
