Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo surpassed Brazilian legend Pelé’s number of official goals after he led his team, Juventus, to victory over Udinese on Sunday.

Ronaldo scored the first and third goals against Udinese, to contribute to Juventus’ victory by four goals for one goal.

The Portuguese star raised his score to 758 official goals with clubs and the Portuguese national team, beating Pelé, who scored 757 official goals throughout his career.

It took Ronaldo 1032 games to score this massive number of goals, while Pelé scored his 757 goals in just 812 games.

And Ronaldo, 35, is just two goals away from breaking Josef Pican’s record, who scored the most goals in official matches in football history.

Ronaldo surpassed Pelé’s record within weeks of his rival, Barcelona captain Lionel Messi, surpassing the number of goals the Brazilian legend had with a team.
