Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi, Minister of Local Development, confirmed that all sums to be collected from citizens in reconciliation for construction violations will go back to citizens of governorates, in development projects, services, road development, social housing, sanitation and improvement of drinking water.
The Minister of Local Development announced that several governorates, including Sharqiyah, Dakahlia, Qalyubia, Alexandria and Al Gharbeya, have made further reductions in reconciliation prices on some construction infractions to facilitate and relieve citizens and encourage them to submit applications and take advantage of the current opportunity provided by the state to legalize the status of these violations and not be exposed to the risk of expulsion. .
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi said that all the governorates are witnessing a large turnout throughout the day in the number of citizens willing to present reconciliation requests, following the facilities announced by the state in recent days, among which are that the value of the reconciliation for the whole field is 50 pounds per meter, and the image of the DNI and any document are sufficient. Request conciliation and complete the rest of the required documents within a period of two months and an initiative to deduct 25% in case of immediate payment of the conciliation fees, which came in implementation of the president’s guidelines to the government to reduce the citizens and take into account the social dimension in the process of evaluating conciliation prices.
The Minister of Local Development added: There are a series of governments that have coordinated with the education directorates to specify a number of schools to receive citizens who wish to reconcile with them to reduce the technological centers and rural units that witness a high participation throughout the day by citizens, in addition to the fact that there are about 320 technology centers that have been completed. Assign them in the governorates to receive requests for reconciliation in all cities and neighborhoods in the country.
Shaarawi highlighted the need for continuous and periodic field monitoring throughout the day of the progress of the work on this file and to ensure that the obstacles are overcome and that all the necessary facilities and facilities are provided to the citizens, at the same time that the exits to receive requests and the number of workers in the system are increased.
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi praised the efforts made by all employees of the local administration and executive management regarding the conciliation file, which is followed through daily reports by the Prime Minister, noting that this file will be evaluated by the leaders of the local administration.
The Minister of Local Development revealed that the total number of reconciliation requests submitted by citizens in all provinces amounted to around 1,180,000 requests as of September 17.
The Minister of Local Development called on citizens who wish to reconcile for building infractions to quickly submit their applications and take advantage of the facilities decided by the state to legalize their status to preserve the real estate wealth of citizens, avoid prison sentences, fines , moving jobs, cutting facilities, preserving the personal wealth of citizens of real estate and housing units, raising their value and establishing their property.
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi stressed that the state is serious about preventing further violations or abuses in all governorates regarding the construction dossier once again, and also seeks to fully restore his rights, and all necessary measures will be taken. to control the construction system in all governorates and reduce the size of slums and illegal construction.
The Minister of Local Development renewed his request to the local leaders in the governorates to warn the heads of neighborhoods, centers, cities and local units who are present around the clock in the offices to help the citizens to solve any problems they face and that they do not leave the offices in case there are citizens who wish to submit requests for conciliation and work during the afternoon and official holidays for their prompt completion. From this important record that the political leadership and the government attach the utmost importance during the current period.
