The Italian newspaper “Corriere dello Sport” revealed today, Thursday, that Liverpool is willing to give up Belgian forward Divock Origi, during the current Mercato winter.

The “Corriere dello Sport” said that Liverpool had no objection to releasing Origi to Inter Milan, in light of the decline of his role in the team.

German coach Jurgen Klopp prefers to rely on the Egyptian attacking trio, Mohamed Salah, Senegalese Sadio Mane and Brazilian Roberto Firmino, as well as Portuguese Diogo Jota, currently injured.

While Inter Milan need a new striker to replace Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez, Origi has been chosen by Italian coach Antonio Conte.

More than one club wants to borrow Origi until the end of the current season, including Inter Milan.

It should be noted that Divock Origi (25 years old) participated with Liverpool in the achievement of the historic “Comeback” against Barcelona (4-0), in the second leg of the semifinals of the Champions League of the season (2018-2018 ), by scoring the fourth goal, after losing. The Reds won 3-0 in the first leg at the Camp Nou, and won the title at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur.
