A source close to Senegalese Alio Badji, Al-Ahly striker, revealed that the player had agreed with one of the Turkish League clubs to play on loan for him until the end of the current 2020/2021 season.
The source said, speaking to Laila Kora on Sunday: “The Turkish offer to Badji is to include him for a period of six months on loan with the intention of selling him at the end of the season.”
He added: “It was agreed between Al-Ahly and the Turkish club on all terms of the contract, and the player’s signature remains to formally finalize the deal.”
The source refused to reveal the identity of the club, saying: “We prefer not to mention the club’s name now, but it is a great club that plays in the Turkish Premier League, and it will be revealed after Badji’s signing.”
Amir Tawfiq, Al-Ahly’s contract director, said on Saturday that Badji will join one of the Turkish league clubs during the upcoming winter transfer period.
Al-Ahly had removed Aliou Badji’s name from his roster during the current season to register the new Moroccan, Badr Bennoun.
The 23-year-old Badji is reported to have joined Al-Ahly last season 2019/2020 from Rapid Vienna, Austria for four years and played 17 matches, during which he scored four goals.
