A source from the Football Association confirmed that the Zamalek club’s debts amount to 22 million pounds, indicating that there will be cooperation with the temporary committee to resolve these issues.
In the next term, Zamalek Club will lead a temporary committee headed by councilor Ahmed Bakri, following the decision to suspend the Zamalek board of directors headed by Mortada Mansour.
In his statements to Yallakora, the source said: “The Zamalek has debts amounting to 22 million pounds and, therefore, a crisis in the registry issue can be generated if the matter is not resolved, as do all the clubs “.
And he continued: “We are cooperating with all clubs to settle debts in order not to make any decisions related to the prevention of enrollment.”
“Of course, there will be cooperation and coordination with the temporary committee that manages the Zamalek club to reach solutions and settle these debts and facilitate all obstacles that arise,” he said.
He stressed: “We do not seek to have obstacles faced by the clubs. Zamalek, for example, has fees for its African participation. Debts can be settled through him. The same applies to other clubs.”
“Ultimately, our goal is to get our rights and take the clubs as much as possible into account,” he concluded.
