A source told Laila Kora, that Swiss coach Rene Fyler, coach of the Al-Ahly team, informed the club’s management that his future would only be negotiated with his agent.
The last hours have witnessed the controversy over the position of the Swiss coach in terms of the leadership of the team during the next period, while opening the way for the non-completion of the African Champions League matches (see more here)
The source, who declined to be named, added that Fyler did not attend today’s meeting, and also informed the club’s management that negotiations over the next period would be with his agent.
The source added that Fyler spoke with Al-Ahly’s management, confirming that he is committed to obtaining the license, which requested approval from October 1 to 5 to visit his family.
Fyler had raised the matter at the press conference after Al-Ahly’s match against Masr, which ended with the Red Genie winning three unanswered goals in Egyptian We League matches.
Fyler said at the press conference: “I have the right to travel to meet my family, but I don’t like being part of the rumors that surround me” (see more here)
