Dr. Hisham Masoud, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health in Sharqia, said that he followed the deaths of patients infected with the emerging virus “Corona” in the isolation section of the Central Hospital of Husseinieh, following a video clip widely disseminated by the pioneers of social networking sites some time ago indicating that lack of oxygen was the cause of his death

Masoud explained that the Health Directorate sent a committee to the hospital to find out the truth of the matter, and it turned out that the number of deaths 4 was in isolated care, one of which was on a ventilator, and that the oxygen level and storage was sufficient for the hospital capacity at that time, indicating that the four deaths were due to exacerbation of disease cases and their health complications and not due to lack or depletion of oxygen.

He noted that the hospital’s oxygen network is one, feeding care and nursery departments, noting that there were 17 children in nurseries and 36 infected with the virus in the isolation department, and there were no deaths among these cases.

The undersecretary of the Ministry of Health confirmed that a commission will be formed to investigate the incident after receiving the health report, to ensure that all the circumstances are identified.

The pioneers of social networking sites had circulated a video clip recently, showing the death of several “Corona” patients at Al Husseiniya Central Hospital, claiming that the death was due to the interruption of oxygen pumping due to the lack of oxygen in the hospital.
