Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman, Liverpool midfielder Jorginho Wijnaldum and Lyon forward Memphis Depay are among their goals to join them this summer, but their plans to sign the players have become questionable.
According to the British newspaper “Mirror”, the Spanish League is preventing Barcelona from closing a new contract, so the players will not move to the “Camp Nou” during the current transfer season.
The newspaper said that strict financial guidelines were imposed on LaLiga clubs, in the context of the economic crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, as the League ended the money that could be spent on transportation and employees this summer, depending on the economic results of the club in the last 5 years.
The British newspaper claimed that the Catalan club pays salaries of up to 510 million pounds annually, so the purchase of new players will not be allowed unless the club first collects the money from the sales.

He added that Barcelona must present the same amount of the deal to the Spanish government, after the League clubs obtained financial aid during the Crown crisis.
The newspaper said that the crisis in the Crown cost Barcelona 300 million pounds in 6 months, as the stars of the team asked to receive up to 70% of their salaries.
The Liverpool administration had informed its Barça counterpart that it was willing to give up the services of Vinaldom, for 15 million pounds, while the Catalan team, which is suffering an economic crisis, seeks to take over the 29-year-old player, for just 10 million pounds.
