King Nadal crushes Djokovic and ties Federer in a historic final ... Video

Spanish star Rafael Nadal crushed Serbian giant Novak Djokovic, the world number one, in the final of the French Open on Sunday.

The matador Nadal beat his giant rival, Djokovic, with six unanswered games in the first set, six games for just two games in the second and seven games against five in the third group, at the Philippe Chatrier stadium in Paris.

Rafael Nadal, the king of clay courts, achieved several records after this confrontation, as he reinforced his record in the tournament by crowning the title for the 13th time in his professional career, after achieving his 100th victory at Roland Garros, in exchange of only two defeats.

The Spanish star raised his tally to 20 titles in the Grand Slam series, equivalent to the record set by Swiss maestro Roger Federer.

Nadal, 34, won his third win over Djokovic in his third final at Roland Garros after 2012 and 2014.

The Spanish Matador also achieved his 27th victory, against the 29 victories of the Serbian giants in 56 matches collected so far, as the most frequent clashes in the modern era in the tennis world, against the 50 clashes between Djokovic and Federer and the 40 clashes so far between Federer and Nadal.

On the other hand, Novak Djokovic (33 years old) won a French Open title in 2016, out of 17 titles in the Grand Slam series, so far in his professional career.
