Jordanian security announced the death of two people and the wounding of 3 others, in the explosion that occurred in the Al-Ghabawi area in Zarqa governorate, northeast of the capital, Amman, while entering and exiting the area They were sealed from the crash site.
The “Al-Arabiya.net” website quoted the media spokesperson of the Public Security Directorate, that “a communication was received from the Zarqa Governorate Police Directorate about the explosion of a bomb from the internal security remnants in the Al-Ghabawi area, which resulted in the accident, two dead and three injured. They were treated in hospital. “
The media spokesperson added that the authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
Activists on social media in Jordan circulated videos showing the blast, including Jordanian journalist and journalist Ola Al-Faris.
A witness, speaking in a video clip he filmed, said he heard a loud explosion in the “Kho” area.
And local media previously reported that the explosion occurred outside the city’s residential sites, although it likely occurred in one of the military’s ammunition depots.
