Ahmed Sadiq Diab, spokesman for the Saudi club Ittihad Jeddah, spoke about the contract scenes with Egyptian international defender Ahmed Hegazy.
Ittihad Jeddah Club has officially announced the signing of Egyptian Ahmed Hegazy from the ranks of England’s West Bromwich Albion.
According to the official account of the Al-Ittihad club on Twitter, the club wrote: “Hejazi Ittihadi”.
Speaking to Ontime Sports, Diab said that Hegazy is a great player and hopes to show a great level with the team during the next period.
He added that Ahmed Hegazy was eager to move on to the Al-Ittihad team, and negotiations with him were easy and did not take time.
A spokesman for the Jeddah Federation stated that his club had hired the Egyptian defender for a season on loan with the possibility of purchase before the end of the current season.
He continued: “Any contract for any club is given to certain specifications before the contract is completed, and the specifications were applicable to the player Ahmed Hegazy.”
He concluded his remarks: “The accession of the player Ahmed Hegazy to the Al-Ittihad team will take place in two days, and he will not leave the Jeddah Union until after his retirement from football.”
