A spokesman for the Jeddah Federation stated that his club had hired the Egyptian defender for a season on loan with the possibility of purchase before the end of the current season.

He continued: “Any contract for any club is given to certain specifications before the contract is completed, and the specifications were applicable to the player Ahmed Hegazy.”
