Al-Youm Al-Sabea learned that the board of directors of the Ismaili club headed by Eng. Ibrahim Othman has terminated its agreement with the Argentine Miguel Jamondi, former coach of the Moroccan Wydad, to take over the training of the dervishes to succeed the Brazilian Heron Ricardo, who was dismissed from his post due to poor results.

Unlike most of the coaches in the world, Jamundi has never practiced soccer, and began his career with the round as a coach at Club Argentino de Racing in 1998, but did not last long with him and left the year.

Jamundi’s experience with Racing is his only experience in his country so far, and after that the coach went to (Africa and Asia), and has not returned since.

In January 2004, after a five-year break in training, Jamondi worked as an assistant coach to his compatriot Oscar Folloni at Esperance Tunis, and it only lasted for several months as he left at the end of the 2013-2014 season.

In 2005, Jamundi took over as head coach of South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, moving from there to Hassania Agadir, Morocco, in early 2007, and then to Platinum South Africa at the end of the same year, before moving to Algerian youth from Belouizdad in 2010.

In the 2011-2012 season, Jamundi left Africa for the Emirati Federation of Kalba, and soon returned to the continent in mid-2012 from the Union gate of the Algerian Capital, then returned to Belouizdad in 2013, and from there to Hassania Agadir again, from 2015 to 2017 as administrator and then from 2017 to 2019 as Technical Director, then he took over the management of the Moroccan Wydad.

Last November, Moroccan club Wydad terminated its contract with Jamondi after failing to lead the Moroccan champion to the final of the African Champions League after losing to Al-Ahly 5/1 in the semi-final round.

Although Gamunde has not achieved any significant achievements in his coaching career, he tends to play offense and his preferred plan is (4-3-3).
