Alaa Waheed, the official spokesperson for the Ismaili club, explained the reason for his club’s request to host the final of the African Champions League between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, scheduled for the 27th of this month at the Egyptian Army Stadium in Burj Al Arab.

Waheed added in his remarks that the Ismaili Club had put forward another initiative to invite the Al-Ahly Board of Directors to visit Ismailia in order to completely remove the congestion, especially due to the good relationship between Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of Al -Ahly, and Ibrahim Othman, the president of Ismaili.
Waheed wished that Al-Ahly would play in Ismaili with the Ismaili in the new season and that Ismaili would play with Al-Ahly at the “Al-Ahly Wei Al-Salam” stadium in Cairo, and that the tension would end, and that the new season was a good season in which sportsmanship prevailed.
Alaa Waheed revealed that the Ismaili Recruitment Committee is the one that determines the required deals, be it from Al-Ahly or others, and that the Yellow Club is looking for the best deals that will benefit the team on its journey into the new season.
A spokesperson for Ismaili asked Dervish fans to be patient with management and the team in the current period.
