The governor directed the committee to review the school’s smart screen control system and verify the incident. The governor emphasized that if the incident is proven, it will be referred to the competent authorities.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Siham Youssef, confirmed that the factory has been reset for all smart displays in the general secondary schools of the Ihanasia Education Administration, and that they only have to explain the lessons and study activities, knowing that all the screens are secured and password only with teachers, and there is no authority for students. It allows them to interact with the screen only in the presence of the teacher.
The Undersecretary added that the screens are being periodically monitored by the technological development specialist of each school, confirming that the field monitoring is carried out periodically through the Technological Development Center of the Directorate.
Videos of students were broadcast on social media as they played porn videos and festival songs on a smart screen inside a school.
