A former Mexican soccer player, Manuel Negretti, 61, announced that he had developed the Coronavirus and is currently in isolation at home until he recovers from the disease.
Negretti wrote on his official Twitter page: “I would like to announce that my Covid-19 test result was positive. I am in good shape at home and following medical recommendations.”
I want to share that I tested positive for # Covid19. I feel good, at home, following medical recommendations, pending work at the mayor’s office and in constant communication with my team.#Stay at home

It is noteworthy that the goal of Negretti, who scored it against Bulgaria in the final round of the World Cup in 1986 (the match ended with two clean goals) was chosen as the most beautiful goal in World Cup history , according to a referendum conducted by FIFA.
Negretti started his professional soccer career in 1979 with the Mexican team Pumas Onam and then played for Sporting Lisbon and Spain’s Gijón before playing again with several Mexican clubs.
